Cast a cloot

The May is well and truly oot (in both senses) and I’ve cast a cloot.  Admittedly, I put it straight back on when the temperature dropped again, but the burst of warmth at the end of May and copious rain has helped the flora progress nicely.  (more…)

I’ve been for a short walk through Blaid’s Wood (see this earlier post for details) today. The wood is full of bluebells in flower between the road and the old waggonway – it’s well worth a visit.  Photos will follow shortly.

Early Hawthorn…Or Not?
