Buttermere walk – High Stile Ridge

After a bit of an hiatus, I’ve just finished updating a fellwalk entry – High Stile ridge from Gatesgarth (anticlockwise) – and adding photos from that walk to the 2012 Fellwalks (2) gallery.  Enjoy these for now, I’m hoping to be back with more soon.

Derwentwater from Keswick

The Kewsick and Derwentwater area is among the most popular destinations for visitors to the Lake District.  Being picturesque, they are also popular with photographers and they are significant to me because of my childhood holidays.  So on my visit to the Lake District earlier this year, I really wanted to try to get a sunset shot from around Keswick.  In the event, the weather didn’t do what I was hoping but I still got a shot and explored some of the area.  The details are shared inside…


Harbingers of Spring

The spring clean is progressing well – I’ve recovered about 20GB of disk space so far – and I took a short break from the cleaning to process some images I’d previously missed.  I’ve added Snowdrops Emerging, Hellebore and Rhododendron Blooms to the Floral gallery.  Please follow the links and take a look.
