The Trossachs, Scotland

For the last four years, I have spent my main annual holiday in The Trossachs, Scotland.  Although this has been family time, I’ve managed to squeeze in a certain amount of photography (thanks to their understanding and tolerance!) and we’ve also explored quite a lot of the area.  This post marks the start of a series in which I’ll share what I’ve discovered for the landscape photographer visiting the area around Aberfoyle.  My experience has centred around the summer months, so you’ll need to factor in any adjustments for differences in the weather, sunrise / sunset times and positions etc at other times of year.

And for those who can’t wait, have a look at my earlier post on Ben A’an.
